Suzuki outboard engines are developed at highest professional level and equipped with highly effective modern systems.
One of the most significant distinction between Suzuki DT15AS engine and previous models of this type is its weight, which is not only less than its predecessor’s (5.5 kg. lighter) but less than any other two-stroke’s available in its class. This was achieved by reducing the size of the engine body, modifying midsection and using plastic pan.
All this changings affected not only size and weight of the engine, but also its form, thus it has become much easier to carry engine on your shoulder. A new retractable carrying handle folds down and out of the way, when not needed, making transforming experience even more comfortable.
DT15AS engine has got a programmed tilt system that offers easy, three-stage adjustment of the outboard angel for shallow water operation and optimized reverse lock system that prevent the engine from kicking up. Exhaust system of the engine was also improved. As well as reduced operation noise and power loss it provides greater exhaust efficiency resulting in increased combustion and acceleration.
