New light, compact and powerful engine DF20AR is intended to use on small plastic and inflatable boats, which are very popular among amateur fishermen.
The DF20AR hold claim to being the world's first battery-less electronic fuel injection four-stroke in its power class. Using all-new fuel injection system components designed smaller and lighter than those found in any previous system, Suzuki engineers succeeded in creating the lightest four-stroke in the 20 HP class.
Suzuki four strokes are rightly famous for their fuel efficiency and technology that lets you go further, for less. And adding Suzuki's proven Lean Burn Control technology to their design, these outboards deliver remarkable fuel economy (about 14%) and reduced emissions throughout their operating range.
With use of modern technologies and improved shock-absorber construction mounting system of the DF20AR has changed and modified. New type of mounting prevents vibration caused by the engine, which transfers on boat, providing comfort use and steering. New suspension design improves weight distribution of the engine and enables handy trim and tilt.
According to Suzuki in-house investigation as of July 2013 DF20AR S-shaft model is the lightest in its power class among outboards equipped with remote control.
